Why are the Bill Of Rights So Critical?

The Bill of Rights are very important because they protect our liberties and freedoms from the government. Without the Bill of Rights, the government can do whatever they want to us. The belief that all men are created equal is implemented to all American citizens. They protect states' rights from the National Government to an extent as well. The Bill of Rights were added to the U.S. Constitution in December 15, 1791. The Bill of Rights consist of the basic 10 amendments, then the other amendments added down the years added up to about 26 amendments.
